University of Tokyo's CanSat team ( Nakasuka Laboratory ) participates in the CanSat program, and is now designing our own CanSat named Gekka-Bijin. Gekka-Bijin means Dutchman's Pipe cactus ( Moonlight Cinderella ) in English.
Gekka-Bijin is planned to be launched this November, but it looks like we can not be ready and obtain an orbital launch this year. Schedule is not fixed at all, but successful experiments, ARLISS project, makes us strongly wish to get an opportunity of orbital launch.
Principal design about Gekka-Bijin can be checked by OHP used at the Second International Conference on Integrated Micro/Nanotechnology for Space Applications.
