We will microfilm your message and launch with our CubeSat.
We, the members of ISSL, have finally had a chance to launch a satellite. In memory of our CubeSat and also we want many people enjoy this project, we decided to carry messages to space.
Mission "Star Dreams" starts.

Please use one post card for one theme. You can apply plural themes

Qualification Requirements

Nothing particular. Everyone from everywhere is welcome.

The Rules for Application

Your work must be written on a postcard.(Size:10.16cm*15.24cm or 4inch * 6inch)
Your message on the backside.
Your name and address on the front side.

Working Process

  1. 8 post cards are copied to one A3 size paper.
  2. This A3 paper is scanned and uploaded to the webpage.
  3. Reduce (Recopy) to 8 pieces A3 papers concerning total application numbers
  4. These papers are microfilmed by a photoshop.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q:When is the satellite launched?

A:The launch date was chaneged to May/2002 from November/2001. Postponed to Dec/2002,again.

Q:Does the rocket really launch?

A:I don't know. There are possibilities for OSSS bankruptcy or insolvency, XI development failure, launch failure. BUT, as long as our passion and hope for small satellite is maintained, we will success someday.

Q:Do you issue acceptance?

A:No we don't. Please confirm at Exhibition. There are works which we received unless you don't want to be displayed. The film replica will be kept at ISSL. So you can look it when you visit ISSL.

Q:What kind of work is suitable for microfilm?

A:A microfilm is a monochrome print. So,,,.
